Our story

When my wife Tara Scougall lost her 11-month battle with cancer, aged just 43, our family wanted to make sure that something positive came out of her death.

At her funeral in Houghton, we decided to raise cash for a cause which meant so much to her.

Now with my children, Eleanor, nine, and Edward, eight, and friends of Tara we want to raise enough cash to buy a lifeboat for the RNLI.

Over the course of the next year we aim to reach our target of raising £214,000 for an RNLI Inshore Atlantic class lifeboat.

All money raised through RNLI’s Give as you Live supporters will be used to go to this great cause.
